So we went to a 30th birthday dinner for one of the guys in our community group at Southside Fellowship and we participated in a Murder Mystery over dinner. It was absolutely hysterical! And fun! i have only been to one other murder mystery and it was where professional actors played the characters and the audience participated by asking questions, making observations etc. But for this dinner, we were the characters. Each character got a book with their role and it told a little about your character and then for each "round" it listed certain clues that you must reveal during that round. It also gave you information about your character that you would not choose to reveal since it would most likely incriminate you. It was so fun! The one we did was an Asian theme so all the names were really funny and we were still figuring out who was who at the end of the night. We really love our community group and this was a great way to get to know each other even more. So, I'm thinking that I may host one of these sometime soon, the couple that hosted it said they have several others with different themes. Sounds like a party to me! Here are a few pics from the dinner.
