Vote early and vote often!

Just kidding, don't vote often, we know that acorn has taken care of that for us!! So I did go and vote this morning. I arrived at the polls at 6:45am, I know most of you are impressed with that. There was already a long line but once the doors opened I only had to wait 30 minutes to cast my historic vote, I was #56 at my poll. I was actually surprised at the turnout, and a little annoyed. Not annoyed because I had to wait, but annoyed because I knew not everyone was voting the way I did. However, I do thank God that we have the right and the freedom to do this, to elect a public official. I know that no matter who wins the election and what happens in the days to come, that my God is still on His throne and He still reigns. I will however be staying up as late as possible (read 10 pm) to see how the results are going. I know at this point the votes on the west coast will just be closing down but the way I figure it, we'll be lucky to know who the president is by Christmas!! I can forsee some very troubling times ahead due to voting machine malfunction. While I was waiting to vote there was an episode with one of the machines, he got hung up after someone pressed the vote button and kept beeping. The poll manager had to reset the machine which left me wondering, did that persons vote get cast and counted? So, with all of the glitches we are sure to encounter, it probably won't matter how late I stay up. I hope everyone got out there and excersiced their freedoms today because that is what this country is all about and what we continue to fight for on a daily basis.
