Long Time

Wow! I was checking my blog and it has really been a long time since I posted! Normal stuff going on, kids growing, paying bills, quitting jobs, you know the usual! Yes I finally quit my job at the church to stay at home full time. I absolutely love it! I love keeping my house in order, being able to run to the grocery store whenever I need to, taking the kids to actually do things! It's great! I am working a little on the side about 6 hours a week for a friend in her office. I really am enjoying it! I haven't gone crazy yet! We have actually been pretty busy since school got out. We have attended 2 VBS's, gone to the lake, reapainted our house etc, etc. It was really nice to be able to celebrate Fathers day this year on the actual day and make Mike breakfast in bed and not have to fly around to get out the door! It was great!!

Our air conditioning broke last night however and for anyone who has ever lived in the south in late June, you know it is hot as blue blazes. And so last night was quite a hot and steamy night, sometimes that can be good, but not in this case. I can't believe we even got any sleep! But luckily we know somebody who fixes these things and he came out today right at lunch time and got it working again, no problem, and only charged us $125 which is amazing!! Great guy!

Tomorrow we have a little birthday party to go to at Chick Fil A in the morning and then we are headed to the lake. There is a big fireworks show on Saturday night that I hope the kids will be able to see, Michael at least.
